Christmas Decoration
Thank you to Marion and Katina for decorating our Church. It looks beautiful. On Sunday, the Community Center will be decorated. If you would like to help, please do.
Annual Christmas Pageant
Sunday School Christmas Pageant and Family Night Friday, December 21, 2012 at 7:00 pm In the Community Center.
Holy Confession
Fr. Chris will be hearing confession for the Christmas Lenten season on Friday, December 21 from 4 pm-6 pm… Please call the church office to make your appointment.
Parish Beautification Day
On Saturday, Dec. 15 we will be beautifying our church and grounds . Some of it will include work on the pavers around the church as well as repairs to walls in the upstairs Sunday School Classrooms . Please come by and work side by side with the Parish Council starting at 8:30 am.
Festival News
We are looking for volunteers to be part of our Festival Leadership Team: We need volunteers to act as hosts/hostesses at the Taverna. If you like to welcome guests and make them feel at home and know Greek food, please see Jim Carras or Anna Merkel.
Iconography Project
Donations are coming in daily for our upcoming project. Fr. Chris will soon be updating everyone of our progress. If you would like to be part of this historic endeavor please call and speak to Fr. Chris. Thank you for all those who have come forth.

2013 Grand Raffle
Tickets have been mailed to our parishioners. If you need more tickets, a table is set up every Sunday from now until the festival. You may turn in your tickets stubs and pick up more tickets to sell. Ticket price is $25.00 and our goal is to sell 5000 to win a new 2013 Mercedes Benz C-250 Sport.
Volunteer Photographers
In an attempt to better document our parish’s active life on our website, we are seeking photographers to volunteer their services to take digital pictures and video clips of upcoming events, activities and liturgical services. Choir
We are looking for faithful members to give their time, talent and voices to join our choir, under the leadership of Patricia Zeiler, to give praise and honor in song to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You do not have to have a perfect voice—All you need is a love for Christ and a desire to honor Him with all you heart, mind and voice. Please contact the church office at 954-467-1515.
Youth Stewardship Program
All youth program participants ages 12 years, in 7th grade through 18 years, are reminded to log their activities and to get the proper signatures. Youth stewardship logs are available in the Narthex, Sunday school and Language & Culture. Dance & GOYA will include the form in emails to you. Turn in your form each Sunday by placing it in one of the colorful the youth stewardship mailboxes. A mailbox is located in the hall and there is one on the desk in the South Narthex as you exit the church. Please direct any questions regarding the youth stewardship program to akmerkel@bellsouth.net.
