Volunteers Needed!!
Great and exciting news which you may have heard from Fr. Chris’s phone tree message. This Monday we will begin construction on our long awaited kitchen and small hall. All our organizations have been notified to do a massive cleanup in the back room and kitchen area. Please, we need volunteers to help out . We will have 2 Pods on the premises for storage and a dumpster. Thank you to all who can come out to help.

Byzantine Music

If you are interested in the history and music of the Byzantine chant, please join Fr. John and his class.
Join George Bouras next Sunday, Sept. 29 for a bouzouki orientation class. The class will be held upstairs in the Sunday School from 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Youth Stewardship Program
All youth program participants ages 12 years, in 7th grade through 18 years, are reminded to log their activities and to get the proper signatures. Youth stewardship logs are available in the Narthex, GOYA and on our St. Demetrios Website. Turn in your form each Sunday by placing it in a mailbox located in the hall or in one on the desk in the South Narthex as you exit the church. Please direct any questions regarding the youth stewardship program to Anna Merkel.
EYCC
The Education Youth Culture Committee (EYCC) is now accepting nominations for the 2013 – 2014 Dance Advisory Committee (DAC). This rewarding team of volunteers is responsible for the St. Demetrios dance program. Nominees must be current stewards in good standing and must submit an EYCC Volunteer Form and a DAC Nomination Form to the church office by Sunday September 29th.
These forms are available in the church office, Narthex and on our website. Please consider joining this significant group or recommend someone to serve in this capacity. We thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
