Prosphora Needed!
It is a blessing to see everyone in church now at the start of the new ecclesiastical year but now we are need for more prosphora. We ask those who are willing and enjoy baking to offer their stewardship by baking loaves that can be used for our services. If you have any questions please contact Fr. John.
District GOYA Survivor retreat, Saturday September 28
The youth from our churches are all meeting this Saturday, at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church in Kendall for a 1 day survival retreat. For more information visit our website.
Byzantine Music
Please note the class has changed to Tuesday nights. This Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 6:30pm.
If you are interested in the history and music of the Byzantine chant, please join Fr. John and his class.
Please join George Bouras on Sunday, Sept. 29 for bouzouki orientation. The class will be held upstairs in the Sunday School from 1:30pm to 2:00pm

Youth Stewardship Program:
All youth program participants ages 12 years, in 7th grade through 18 years, are reminded to log their activities and to get the proper signatures. Youth stewardship logs are available in the Narthex, GOYA and on our St Demetrios Website. Turn in your form each Sunday by placing it in a mailbox located in the hall or in one on the desk in the South Narthex as you exit the church. EYCC
The Education Youth Culture Committee (EYCC) is now accepting nominations for the 2013 – 2014 Dance Advisory Committee (DAC). This rewarding team of volunteers is responsible for the St. Demetrios dance program. Nominees must be current stewards in good standing and must submit an EYCC Volunteer Form and a DAC Nomination Form to the church office by Sunday September 29th.
These forms are available in the church office, Narthex and on our website. Please consider joining this significant group or recommend someone to serve in this capacity. We thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
