  • A Devoted Heart

In the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, Amen.

Words that roll off our tongues without hesitation and/or thought. But who is The Holy Spirit? We know of God, we know of Jesus, but do we really know of The Holy Spirit?

There are many misconceptions about the identity of the Holy Spirit.  Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force.  Others understand the Holy Spirit as the impersonal power that God makes available to followers of Christ. But most importantly, what does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit?   The Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is God.  The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will.

Join us this Sunday for “A Devoted Heart” as we study John 14:16  “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever.”

As Orthodox Christian’s we have been given a Helper, do you KNOW Him?

For God’s Glory alone,

Helena and Christian
