Weekly Sunday Bulletin-October 16, 2016

Ministry News

Sunday School  has begun and we are looking for a few good women and men to teach our youth about the Orthodox faith.  Several of our volunteers have been teaching for at least 10 years and we need to share this great responsibility with new volunteers.

While it is a great commitment, it is such an important ministry to help our youth grow spiritually and carry on the beautiful traditions of our church.

Please consider being a lead teacher, or an assistant.  If you are not comfortable with a weekly commitment, there are opportunities to team teach, alternating every other week with another teacher.  All grades have a teaching curriculum with easy to follow lesson plans.  Also, there is a whole host of new online resources to keep it interesting for our new generation.

If you can only make a short term commitment, there are opportunities to chair the Oratorical Festival or direct the Annual Christmas Pageant.

If interested, please fill out a volunteer application (available in the South Narthex)  and forward to susanselimos@comcast.net.
