Philoptochos Baking

Join the ladies of Philoptochos who will be baking koulourakia for coffee hour on Sundays. Baking is on Wednesday, March 26 at 9am.

Philoptochos pre-orders for Pascha

Please place your order with Philoptochos for Easter Tsourekia, Eggs and Koulourakia today in the community center. Philoptochos is also in need of empty egg cartons.

Little Lambs – Mommy and Me the Orthodox Way

Please join us for Little Lambs, all Mommy’s, Daddy’s, Yiayia’s and Papou’s. All children 5 and under are welcome. Meetings will be held in the Church cry-room at 10:00 am on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. Our first meeting will be April 7 . St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival

Congratulations to Stavros Taschioglou and Athena Tsingelis who came in 1st and 2nd place in our junior division. Stavros and Athena will be moving on to St. George in Hollywood for the District Oratorical which will be held April 5, 2014.

Palm Sunday Luncheon– April 13

Please join us on Palm Sunday for a delicious fish luncheon in our community center. Lunch is hosted by the Goyans , $10. for adults, and for children under 10 it is $5 for a pasta lunch.

Good Friday– Myrofores

This year, all girls registered in Sunday School who are interested in being a myrofora (flower girl) for Good Friday, please call Effie Vasil at 954-773-5455 after 5pm.

Agape Service

If you would like to read the Holy Gospel in any language other than English or Greek ie Spanish, French, Latin, German , Russian, Arabic etc., please call the church office.

St. Demetrios Summer Camp from June 9th to June 13th, 2014

This camp is offered as a way for our young people to further engage their faith and build relationships with others. There are many activities and workshops that will bring the Christian ethos to their minds and hearts. This is a wonderful and unique opportunity for our youth to experience Christ and our Orthodox faith alongside their friends, peers, and mentors.
